I am committed on FranzifySEO to providing all users – regardless of their abilities – with a fully accessible website experience. Ongoing Efforts to Ensure Accessibility

I use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Version 2.1 as my guiding principle for assessing accessibility. These internationally recognised standards include numerous recommendations and best practices for making content usable. When I add new pages and features to my website, I review all designs, code and content creation procedures against these standards.

The accessibility of my website is an ongoing process. I continuously test content and features for compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and remedy any shortcomings to ensure that I meet or even exceed the standards. In doing so, I use industry-standard tools such as the Accessibility Checker WordPress plugin, colour contrast analysers, keyboard navigation techniques and Flesch-Kincaid readability tests.

• Review of fonts, font sizes and colours for sufficient readability and contrast.

• Use of meaningful alt texts where necessary.

As part of my efforts to further improve my website, I am focusing on the following areas:

• Analysis of the readability of all text – both existing and new content.
• Use of screen readers, zoom applications and keyboard-only navigation to test the site.
• Completing a preparatory course for an internationally recognised accessibility certificate.
